Hey guys,
So, here I am, Sore. Minus one gall bladder.
Surgery went very well yesterday. I honestly was suprised at how fast it all went for me. I got to the hospital with my family early in the morning, took me back to pre-op, got all the good happy drugs, and I just barely remember going into the actual OR. Next thing I know, I'm waking up with some cuts on my stomach and its all over. Like no time at all had passed for me. Thankfully, everything went according to plan and they were able to do the surgery laproscopically. Which means that I am going to be laid up here at home till next Wednesday at the earliest. (Wednesday is when I go back to see my Doctor).. So, for once. I get Christmas week off. KInda wish it was under better circumstances.
Bright side is that everything else this week seems to be going my way. Finals went very well. (2 A's and 2 B's.). Got my Christmas bonus at work, which I wasn't expecting. and "the friend" sent me a text message. Looks like he does still want to talk, but he is really busy with work stuff, which I can totally understand. So I will continue to be patient on that front while I find other things to occupy my time while recovering. Lots of DVD's to watch, Books, to read, etc. And apparently, I am supposed to move a lot., and wear an ice pack.
Apologies if this post comes out garbled. I'm typing from my wireless keyboard, and looking at my monitor from an odd angle, so my typing is not the greatest right now. Id use my laptop, but I am not supposed to be doing much in the way of heavy lifting.
